We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I am one of the newest additions to this awesome team. I am passionate about orthodontics because I believe a smile is a very important aspect that promotes confidence. One of the reasons why my focus is in orthodontics is because you never get bored, I get to work closely with the patients, and I enjoy seeing them evolve throughout the treatment.
A little bit more about myself is that I am from Mexico, hence I am fluent in Spanish. I am part of the Spanish interpreter team and together we help our Spanish-speaking patients by offering a clearer understanding of the procedure or help with any questions they may have. My wife Vanessa and I have been married for almost five years and are proud parents of our firstborn, Daniel. My hobbies are outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and hunting.
I have worked with Dr. Sanders since November 2010. I enjoy watching our patients’ confidence build as their healthy, beautiful smiles evolve over the course of treatment. The exciting part of my job is meeting new people every day and helping them understand that braces are not just about having straight teeth; they also involve creating good bites and aligning teeth in a way that will protect them from wear/damage, so that they will last a lifetime. My favorite part is seeing a patient’s new smile and comparing it to their “before” photos!
Outside of the office, my life is spent with my husband Brian and our fur babies, Leopold and Rey. We love spending time in South Lake Tahoe for the dog-friendly beaches and hiking. Brian and I like participating in obstacle courses and mud runs like the Color Run and Tough Mudder. My favorite hobby is scrapbooking and my newest one is gardening since we recently purchased our first home together!
As treatment coordinator, my primary focus is coordinating our patients’ treatment. I educate patients about their specific treatment plans, help coordinate insurance benefits, and assist patients in making financial arrangements that fit within their family’s budget. My favorite part of my job is patient interaction! Our patient family is so diverse; it is so fun getting to know families and patients while they are in the office. I enjoy having the tools to help them and make their orthodontic experience as pleasant as possible. As I am fluent in Spanish, I enjoy being able to help our patients and parents who speak Spanish feel at ease and comfortable when starting and going through treatment. It is so exciting to see how patients progress and to see their great smiles at the end of treatment.
I am a recent graduate of California State University Sacramento where I received my bachelor’s degree in child development with an emphasis on early childhood education. I enjoy cooking, (attempts at) baking, and being outdoors. Day hikes and trips are my favorite thing to do on any weekend. Although I am not a sports enthusiast, I am a sports fan and love going to soccer, baseball, and football games. I am very involved locally in my church where I have the opportunity to participate in service and volunteer work in the Sacramento area.
I was given the opportunity to join Dr. Sanders’s team in 2012. I started out as a scheduling coordinator, transitioned into the role of insurance coordinator, and from there to office manager, so I do a little bit of everything! I oversee the day-to-day organization of the practice with a goal to keep our daily operations running smoothly as possible at all times. I am committed to making everyone’s experience in our office positive and enjoyable. Our patients are like family and it's so fun to watch them grow and change throughout their treatment.
It is truly a privilege to work with talented professionals who like to make a difference in our patients’ lives as much as I do. Dr. Sanders is truly a compassionate individual and values me for the contributions I make to our team, which makes all the difference to me. He is the kindest doctor I’ve ever met and he has a really big heart. He exceeds expectations as a boss, a doctor (I was a patient myself), and overall as a really great individual.
Outside of the office you can find me traveling abroad; South Africa has become my second home and is where I met my husband. I am also very passionate about portrait photography and often enjoy doing freelance work.
I love getting to know the wonderful people in our community. Along with my team members, I’m driven to give our patients the best orthodontics experience and make sure they’re always laughing during their visits. Seeing their warm and happy smiles, and how confident they become, is the best feeling. I’ve been part of the office since 2016 and love everything about it.
I have two beautiful daughters and a WONDERFUL husband of 16 years who keep my life very busy and exciting. Outside work, I love to spend time with friends and family, I run half marathons and weekends are filled with watching our oldest daughter play on her competitive soccer team!
I have been working in the dental field for 16 years and have been an RDA for the past 14. I previously worked in pediatrics for ten years and fell in love with orthodontics five years ago. I love watching smiles change and confidence grow in each of our patients. The best part of this job is the relationships we build with the families in our practice.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and most importantly, my dogs! I love being outdoors and enjoy camping, fishing and hiking. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment!
I have been in the orthodontic field for 16 years and I really enjoy what I do! I joined Dr. Sanders's team in early 2016 when I relocated from the Bay Area and I have enjoyed working in multiple positions in the office. Some days you will find me assisting the doctor chairside, but I also help people with their insurance and financial questions. What I most enjoy is seeing our patients' smiles transform.
I have a daughter who is now a freshman in high school. My family and I also foster dogs through a dog rescue organization. We all enjoy cooling off in the river and going for walks at the park.
I love my job at Sunrise Orthodontics! One of things I enjoy most about my job is getting to know patients. Our patient family is so interesting and I especially enjoy the diversity of patients we see on a day-to-day basis. My duties include answering questions about treatment, finding the best available day for appointments, and answering phone calls.
I was raised in a Ukrainian family and can speak Russian and Ukrainian fluently. I am currently a student at CSU Sacramento and am studying business. In my free time, I work with my church youth group and I love it, especially working with the teenagers. I have had an opportunity to travel abroad to do volunteer work. I hope to continue traveling and seeing more of the world.
I love orthodontics! I've been in the field since 2000. I started my orthodontic journey by working for Invisalign®, where I did treatment planning and staged teeth movements with computer simulations. From there, I made my move into a private practice and began seeing first-hand how the progress of a beautiful smile can really make a difference in one’s self-esteem. I feel like a smile is a universal language that everyone can understand and I love helping to create them!
I love learning new things, meeting new people, and hanging out with my big family and close circle of friends. I’m a huge fan of live sporting events, New Kids on the Block, and pretty much all shows on the Bravo network!
As the financial coordinator, I assist our patients with setting up and processing payment options, reviewing and signing new contracts, and completing end-of-day reports. When I’m not playing with numbers, I enjoy catching up with our patients and seeing their smiles progress!
Outside of work, my favorite place to be is around the dinner table spending time with friends and family or serving the youth in my church! I love traveling, arts and crafts time, being in the water, and all things SacTown!
I am the other Michelle in the office who's known for her rapid walk and goofy song impersonations. I have been an orthodontic assistant for the last 24 years and have called Washington and Louisiana home as well. My focus is doing the lab work for the office, which includes same-day deliveries for retainers. I love coming to work because I get to spread my infectious positive energy and jam out to upbeat music throughout my day.
Fun pastimes for me occur when I'm involved in any outdoor activity ranging from four-wheeling to kayaking. My 13-year-old son keeps me young and competitive when we play X-box. Having a son also allows me to connect easily with my patients. My longest project has been renovating my house. I have two dogs and recently rescued a pet squirrel I named Steve. In ten years from now, you can still find me riding my Harley and having glow stick pool parties with my husband.
I'm mostly grateful for my family and to be able to work a fulfilling job with a great team of co-workers. I look forward to creating new memories like dressing up as characters from the movie “Trolls” and finding out what next year's Halloween costume theme will be.
As the sterilization technician at Sunrise Orthodontics, my primary role is centered around preparing instruments for sterilization and keeping the clinic clean, organized, and well-stocked. As a recent college graduate of Pacific Union College (Angwin, CA), I am thrilled to now be a part of a family-centered office that is so uplifting and positive. It is refreshing to work with genuinely nice and caring coworkers who strive to make the patient's visit one that is comfortable and tailored to their specific needs.
When I am not working, I enjoy coordinating community health clinics, and planning oral hygiene school talks where I am the Tooth Fairy. Since graduating college, I have found a new love for my hometown of Sacramento through blogging about its new cuisines. My affinity for matcha, decadent desserts, and hand-made greeting cards is hard to hide. I have an abnormally cute puppy named Bruno who makes it difficult to leave to work in the morning. However, I love being part of the bigger picture, which is making sure that the patient is the priority. By actively working to progress patient cases from start to finish, I am gaining exposure and confidence daily in the field I hope to become a professional in.
My family moved from Guadalajara, Mexico to California in 2016. Originally, I was born in San Francisco but moved to Guadalajara to complete my education and formal training as a foreign dentist. Since calling California home, I am blessed to have found a job where the work atmosphere is awesome. There are a lot of patients here who provide me the opportunity to practice orthodontics, which I love. These are a few of the things that make me smile and I hope to share with my patients.
The two most important people in my life are my baby daughter and my husband. On weekends, I look forward to long walks with my daughter and soaking in the moments I see her laugh and grow. Some of my favorite things include Chinese food, R & B music, and watching the show “Friends.”
Una sonrisa es única. Sonríe siempre.
I am here to help make patients' experiences with us as smooth as possible. I schedule appointments for new and existing patients, answer phone calls, and help patients with any treatment questions they may have. My favorite part about working at Sunrise Orthodontics is all the new people I have met and will continue to meet! I love the diversity of people that come through our office and I enjoy catching up with patients as I schedule their next visit. I am very happy that I was given the opportunity to be a part of this team. Dr. Sanders and the rest of the staff are awesome! Everyone here genuinely cares about our patients and giving them the best smile possible!
When I am not working, I like to spend my time with my fur baby Riri, a Pit Bull/Boxer mix! I also enjoy working out, going to concerts, and just hanging out with friends.
I work in the front office, where we handle all scheduling, answer questions about treatment, and take all the phone calls in our office. While I am new to the team, I’m passionate about smiles! I love interacting with our patients! They are the best part of my day! I especially love celebrating when patients get their braces off! Being able to see the transformation of their smile is the best!
I am brand new to California! I grew up in Washington State and married my wonderful husband Aaron while attending Brigham Young University! We recently got jobs in the Sacramento area and love it here! I love biking with my husband, running, and swimming! I also love teaching private swimming lessons to children with learning disabilities and working with refugees in the community. Watching “I Love Lucy” and cooking are two of my favorite things, and I secretly dream of one day attending a French culinary arts school!
I graduated with my A.S in Dental Assisting in 2011 at Heald College in Stockton. Once I started assisting in orthodontics, I never looked back! I love the fast-paced, positive environment and hands-on experience in providing great customer service. It’s great to see new smiles and meet new people of all ages.
As far as my team, I wouldn't want to work with any other group of people. Everyone here treats each other as if they are family. I love working with a group of people that are all on the same page and have lots of respect for one another. This is the happiest place on earth to work!
I'm a proud husband of 14 years. My wife Joanne (The Queen) is my best friend, my rock, and my biggest fan. I'm also a father of six fabulous boys, Jeremiah, Anthony, Nickolas, Julian, Jayden, and Josiah. We all enjoy going on family trips and spending quality time together. As a father, I love to be involved in all my kids’ sports activities from coaching baseball and football to being they're biggest fan on the sideline and in the bleachers cheering them on!
